The Deadline for filling BSc Nutrition & Dietetics Entrance form was Magh 17. Now the Deadline is extended till Falgun 13. The Entrance Exam Form fee is NRs. 2300.

1. वि.वि. वा त्यसवाट मान्यता प्राप्त शिक्षण संस्थाबाट प्रविणता प्रमाणपत्र तह खाद्य प्रयोगशाला प्रविधि वा उच्च माध्यमिक शिक्षा परिषद्को १०+२ (विज्ञान) वा सो सरहको परीक्षामा अंग्रेजी, गणित, भौतिक शास्त्र र रसायन शास्त्र विषयमा १००/१०० पूर्णाङ्क लिई कम्तिमा दोश्रो श्रेणी वा कम्तीमा प्रत्येक विषयमा C ग्रेड ल्याई उर्तीण भएको हुनु पर्नेछ । CTEVT बाट तिन वर्षे डिप्लोमा इन फुड एण्ड डेरी टेक्नोलोजी गर्नेको हकमा सो विषयमा दोश्रो श्रेणीमा उत्तीर्ण गरेको हुनु पर्ने छ।

2. विदेशी बोर्डबाट उत्तीर्ण गर्नेहरुले आइ. एस्सी. वा १०+२ (विज्ञान) मा अनिवार्य अंग्रेजी, गणित, भौतिक शास्त्र रसायन शास्त्र विषयमा १००/१०० पूर्णाङ्क लिई कम्तिमा दोश्रो थेणि वा कम्तिमा C ग्रेड ल्याई उत्तीर्ण भएको हुनु पर्नेछ ।

3. A Level अध्ययन गर्नेको हकमा गणित, भौतिक शास्त्र र रसायन शास्त्र विषयमा १००/१०० पूर्णाङ्कको विषय लिई प्रत्येक विषयमा कम्तीमा D ग्रेड ल्याई उत्तीर्ण हुनु पर्नेछ ।

About this Course:-

Central Campus of Technology, Central Department of Food Technology, Dharan, therefore, prepared the present course of study for Nutrition and Dietetics (B.Sc.ND).

B.Sc. Nutrition and Dietetics program is of four academic years. The whole course is divided into four parts, each of one-year duration and 500 marks. In total, twenty papers are offered. Four theory papers are given 50 marks each while the rest sixteen papers are given 100 marks each.

Eleven papers carry practical parts, the marks distribution for theory and practical being 75% and 25%, respectively. In the fourth year, there are two additional compulsory courses, namely, (i) dissertation, and (ii) field-based posting (3 month internship), each carrying 100 marks. Short field visits will be decided by the Nutrition & Dietetics Instruction Committee.

Objectives:

The field of nutrition and dietetics is dedicated to protecting the health and saving lives by developing knowledge and expertise in the field. Hence, the course aims to produce graduates with recognized clinical, public health, and management skills. The graduates will be qualified to work as nutritionists and dietitians in the hospital setting and other specialized areas such as community and public health, and the food industry sector.
